Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how linkom ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use linkom.app. linkom is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: your email address, name, and password (stored hashed) — or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
• Profile content: the username, links, social handles, branch locations, and images you add to your public page.
• Usage data: aggregate views and link clicks on your public page, including approximate country and referrer, used to power your analytics.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Paddle. We never see or store your card details.
• Support data: your support tickets, and the questions you ask the linkom support assistant with its answers (plus the page it was opened on and, for visitors who aren't signed in, the approximate country). Our team reads assistant chats to answer you and improve our help; they are deleted after 90 days.

2. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the Service and your public page.
• To authenticate you and secure your account.
• To show you analytics about your page.
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, receipts).
• To detect abuse and comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run linkom:

• Cloudflare — hosting, database (D1), media storage (R2), and the AI model that writes the support assistant's answers (Workers AI).
• Paddle — payment processing and billing (Merchant of Record).
• Resend — delivery of transactional emails.
• Google — optional sign-in, if you choose it.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

If you arrive through a linkom affiliate's link, we keep a cookie for up to 60 days so that, if you create an account, the affiliate is credited. Affiliates never see who you are: they only see counts (clicks, sign-ups, paying customers) and their commission amounts.

Page owners may connect their own analytics or advertising tools (such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel) to their public pages. Those tools are chosen by the page owner, run only on that owner's pages, and are governed by the page owner's and the tool provider's privacy policies. By default, visitors in Europe are asked before they run, and no names, phone numbers or email addresses are passed to them.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile and personal data, except where we must retain records to comply with legal or accounting obligations.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time from your dashboard, or by contacting us. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law.

7. Public content

Remember that your linkom page is public by design — anything you add to it can be seen by anyone with the link.

We may update this policy; changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
