Grow and manage
Your own domain
Show your page on your own address, like links.yourbrand.com, instead of linkom.app/yourname. Included in Pro and Business.
Before you start
- You need a domain you own (bought from any domain provider — Cloudflare, Namecheap, GoDaddy…).
- Each page can have its own domain. The domain shows the page you're editing.
- A subdomain like links.yourbrand.com is the easiest choice. If you want the main domain (yourbrand.com), linkom suggests www.yourbrand.com, which works with every provider.
Connect it
- 1Go to Dashboard → Pages & domain → Custom domain.
- 2Type your domain (for example links.yourbrand.com) and press Connect.
- 3linkom shows one CNAME record. Go to your domain provider's DNS settings and add it: Type CNAME, the Name / Host shown, and the Value / Target shown. Use the Copy buttons to avoid typos.
- 4Come back and wait: the status shows Waiting for DNS. It usually takes a few minutes, sometimes a few hours. Press Check again whenever you like.
- 5linkom checks by itself and emails you when your domain is Live.
Tip: In the Name / Host field most providers want only the first part — for links.yourbrand.com, just links. On Cloudflare, set the record to DNS only (grey cloud).
If it doesn't connect
- Check that the record type is CNAME and the value is copied exactly.
- Remove any other record with the same name (an old A or CNAME record).
- linkom may also list extra records under “If it still doesn't connect after an hour, also add these records”. If it's still waiting after an hour, add those too.
- Still stuck? Open a ticket from Support — we'll check it with you.
Remove it
Press Remove domain. Your page stays on linkom.app/yourname, which always keeps working.
